Etrol launches design and development service - Mar 2010.
In line with our continuing drive to expand the business, Etrol has launched a design, development and manufacturing service. Over
many years and particularly during the development of our latest product range we have built up a large body of technical knowledge.
Concentrating on small to medium size projects within the embedded electronic control market our aim it to assist companies
to leverage thier technical advantage in an increasingly competitive market.
The website will shortly be updated to provide full
information. Until then here are the main services we are offering.
- Close liason with the customer to help define the project design requirements.
- Rapid response design facilities including:
- Full featured Analogue and digital circuit design.
- Software creation.
- PCB layout with all surface mount and through hole options.
- Full prototyping with proof of operation.
- Low to medium volume production (here in the south east of England).
Annual customer conference - Oct 2009.
This weekend Etrol held its annual customer conference. Discussions were very much focused on the future with the general
conclusion being that it all looked very bright indeed. The conference was sponsored by one of Etrol's most valued customers,
Spedo UK Ltd at their busy head quarters in rural Norfolk. All at Etrol would like to extend a very big thank you for the superb
hospitality provided throughout the event.
Loan scheme introduced - Aug 2009.
Etrol have implemented a loan scheme to allow customers to fully evaluate an E-Node system with no obligation and no cost.
The loan is backed by free software and technical support. Systems are built to customers requirements and loaned for
an agreed period of time. All we ask is that the system be returned in a fully working condition when the evaluation is complete.

Control-C 2p06 available - May 2009.
Control-C has been updated to version 2p06. A Virtual Axis option has been added and several minor improvements made.

Spedo Uk Ltd launch their latest forms cutter, the 2400, powered by an embedded CORE and the colour touch SCREEN node in OEM form.

Etrol's campaign to tell the world about the E-Node was kicked of this month with our first article in the 'Drives and Controls' magazine. We would like to thank both the magazine and the Editor, Tony Sacks for this valuable entry. Keep an eye out for a possible follow up.

"New SCREEN node available" - March 2009.
The latest addition to the E-Node range is available. The 'SCREEN' is a full colour QVGA 5.7" Touch screen. As with all the other E-Node members the SCREEN is fully programmable using Control-C with a range of dedicated commands to support features like Touch keys, text and graphics. It is also fitted with two CAN based E-Net interfaces , an E-Net gateway port, an RS232/485 port and a WHEEL port for rotary potentiometer like input.
"Web site goes live" - March 2009.
In 2007 the newly developed E-Node was introduced into selected customers for rigorous evaluation trials. Much valued customer feedback resulted in improvements and refinement. We have now shipped many hundreds of units and are happy to launch this site for the general release of the E-Node.
