COMMS is a dedicated communications node offering UART and E-Net gateway facilities..

Hardware Features

• Uart - RS232 or RS485 format, isolated, protected (9 way D Type connector).
• E-Net gateway via Industry standard Ethernet, 100/10 Mbaud, isolated (RJ-45 connector).

Software Features provided by Control-C

• Write and Read to both ports.
• Full UART set up facility.
• Receive interrupt.
• Receive buffering.

Front Panel Indicators

• 8 Segment Display - Status, programming progress and Communications indicator.
• Uart Status - Led indication of send or receive for either RS232 or RS485.
• Ethernet Status - LED indication of Activity, Speed, Duplex mode and Collision.
