Programming Adaptor Cable

The Programming Adaptor is a special cable for connecting an E-Node to a Personal Computer for programming and set-up. The Personal Computer end is a Standard USB type A connector. The E-Node end connects to the E-Port. This is a standard USB mini B 5 pin connector but IT IS NOT A USB PORT. It is a low level interface connecting directly to the internal microprocessor. Mounted on the cable is the ADAPTOR box that performs the following:-

• Converts from the USB to the E-PORT communications format.
• Provides a safety isolation barrier.
• Ensures only personnel with an ADAPTOR cable can programme the E-Node.
• Reduces circuit redundancy in the E-Nodes.

E-NET Ribbon Cable

Groups of E-Nodes mounted on a common DIN rail use an E-NET Ribbon cable to distribute power from the PSU and connect the E-Net between the nodes. Featuring:-

• Quality 20 way ribbon cable.
• Quality 20 way IDC connectors on a 31mm pitch.
• Supplied to order in multiple numbers of pitches.

E-Node Link Cable

Groups of E-Nodes are connected using an E-NET node and E-Node Link Cables. Featuring:-

• Quality impedance matched screened cable.
• Quality metal connector shells with robust cable retention.
• Screw locks.
• Supplied in lengths from 0.5 to 10 metres with special lengths to order.
